Cheers to Keith, of TrunkGuy.com, and his husband Richard. They were married on October 21 in Britain.
I haven't met Keith but I listen to his podcast, love his photos, and have chatted with him many times but seeing the photos of his union and knowing that its legally recognized makes me happier than I could have ever anticipated.
I normally detest wedding pictures because whenever people gather around to look at them they all seem to have an emotional reaction to them. I never knew what the big deal was, I never felt anything. But these photos, they make me feel something. I can actually relate to the happiness of the event.
I mentioned some dribble about the frontal lobe in my podcast.
The Frontal lobes have been found to play a part in impulse control, judgment, language, memory, motor function, problem solving, sexual behavior, socialization and spontaneity. The Frontal lobes assist in planning, coordinating, controlling and executing behavior. People that have damaged frontal lobes may experience problems with these aspects of cognitive function, being at times impulsive; impaired in their ability to plan and execute complex sequences of actions; perhaps persisting with one course of action or pattern of behavior when a change would be appropriate.
Inevitably these members of the species will do us the service of removing themselves from the population, preferably before they have a chance to breed.
A woman in my condo complex thinks that recycling attracts bums. Beck's new album is good. Families with small children beware of my and my one-man-band suit. Cream cheese covered in bacon is yummy. Cheaters come back to say, "thank you." I love Blue Planet and Engineering an Empire.
