I want to make sure how you know when someone is trying to sell you a bridge to nowhere.

When someone, let's say a president, says to you that when a speed boat, like this one:

approaches a guided missile destroyer, like this one:

is a "provocative act", he wants to sell you a bridge to nowhere. And when the Navy just so happens to have captured the "dramatic video" for all to see on the internets, someone is trying to sell you a bridge to nowhere.
