I guess it's only one fear since I've overcome two of them. Listen to find out. Thanks for all the comments welcoming me back to podcasting y'all! Arcade Fire has produced my new personal anthem!

It is sooooo good to have you back, Adam! I have to say, you're just about the only person I know who'd look at a ladder and think F=MA. I had to laugh when I heard that. Still, if you are paranoid, you come by it naturally: We Americans are taught to be paranoid.
Thanks so much for the kind words about my podcast! You were one of the main inspirations for me to start podcasting, which is why I'm so pleased you're back.
Loved the song, btw.

You mean the most European place in Dallas isn't that neo-French monstrosity in Uptown? I am shocked that actual European people wouldn't flock to it in an effort to assuage their homesickness...
I do the same thing with ladders: above the third rung, I start to perspire like a homo in church. It's very sad...

It's funny how I think of myself as not afraid of crime. However, my school has recently received threats, and they closed the school down and we all have to check in with security now. I have to admit that it was a little unnerving at first, but I've gotten used to it. I have to admit that sometimes I'm not fond of the US, but I still feel like it's home. Maybe that's because I'm living in SF and it's well, you know, somewhat liberal. I almost can't imagine living anywhere else now. I shouldn't type that because it's probably sealing some sort of fate. And I always think about you. I must be a rather large scarecrow, I don't think there's enough straw in Kansas to make one to match me! I've never really had a fear of ladders or any of that. I guess I just have a fear of "wrongness". Anyway, TMI, but enjoyed your cast nonetheless and tickled even more pink that you've taken a listen to mine.

Working with electricity makes me nervous as well. I think that it is good to be a little afraid so that you don't get cocky.
As for the gun-shot thing, maybe you have watched the Zapruder film too many times?

Such fears! I can't say I have a fear of ladders, but I do have a fear of where they take me....up high. I have a fear of heights. And I'm more scared of water pipes than I am of electricity.
