Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a while since a post but life has been very busy for us. My excuses for not posting are that I have not had time or I just haven't felt like blogging. It's funny, we lived in Dallas for five years and our social life was pretty much non-existent, we've been here for 6 months and every weekend has been action packed.
Today, we attended the national protest against H8 with our pals Jake and Joe. Brad took some photos while I held the sign we made.

The weather was perfect for the rally, even if it did get a bit hot. We had to duck under some trees towards the end. Everyone was very peaceful and it was great to see such a turnout! Afterwards Brad and I had some lunch up in the Castro and while we were sitting outside on the patio we watched as a sizeable group of people marched up Market Street from Civic Center to the Castro. As of tonight, there's another sit-in at the intersection of Castro and 18th street disrupting traffic. Hooray for civil disobedience!!
Today also happens to be Brad's birthday so we'll be going out to a nice dinner at a restaurant we've been wanting to try for some time, Foreign Cinema. The food is supposed to be terrific and I've requested a table on the patio where they project old foreign films while you eat. Fun!! For desert, I got him a delicious cake from Tartine. I had wanted to make him some chocolate chip cookies as well but this heat wave we are having makes me leery about firing up the stove.
That's all for now , I'll try to be better about updating this space!
